Abstract

Se describen un metodo y un sistema para habilitar la fijacion de canal y control de antena en un receptor de senal del television que proporciona una forma eficiente en la cual se optimiza la sintonizacion de canales. De acuerdo con una modalidad ilustrativa, un receptor de senal de television, tal como un receptor de television digital (DTV) incluye una memoria para recibir y almacenar datos provistos de un medio de almacenamiento. Los datos incluyen una lista de canal que tiene uno o mas canales disponibles, para recepcion a traves del receptor de senal de television en un sitio designado e informacion de control de antena que corresponde a cada uno de los canales en la lista de canales.
