Abstract

Se proporcionan metodos para reducir la permeabilidad al agua de una zona productora de agua en una formacion subterranea. Los metodos basicamente comprenden introducir un surfactante polimerico y un gas inerte en la zona productora de agua para formar asi una espuma reductora de permeabilidad al agua en la misma. El surfactante polimerico tiene la propiedad de facilitar la formacion de la espuma y la propiedad adicional de estabilizar la espuma en presencia del agua para formacion fluida.
