Abstract
Un método para reducir la permeabilidad al agua de una zona productora de agua en una formación subterránea penetrada por un pozo de perforación que comprende introducir una agente tensoactivo polimérico y un gas inerte en la zona de producción de agua por medio de un pozo de perforación para formar así una espuma que reduzca allí la permeabilidad al agua, dicho agente tensoactivo polimérico tiene la propiedad de facilitar la formación de dicha espuma y la propiedad adicional de estabilizar dicha espuma en presencia de agua que fluye en la formación.
