Abstract
Una fuente de energia de respaldo para suministrar energia operativa a un aparato de movimiento de barrera cuando no esta presente una fuente de energia principal, incluyendo circuiteria de habilitacion que responde a codigos de seguridad transmitidos para conectar energia operativa de la fuente de energia de respaldo al aparato de movimiento de barrera. La fuente de energia de respaldo incluye una entrada de energia principal; un aparato de almacenamiento para almacenar energia de la fuente principal; un aparato de conversion para convertir la energia almacenada por el aparato de almacenamiento en energia principal sustituta; y un aparato de control que responde a senales de solicitud generadas por el usuario para habilitar el aparato de conversion para convertir energia almacenada en energia principal sustituta para uso por el equipo. De acuerdo con otro aspecto de la invencion, cuando un controlador de movimiento de barrera identifica que una reduccion de energia por una fuente de energia sustituta fue ocasionada por el hecho de que la barrera golpeo una obstruccion, el controlador ordena la apertura de la barrera, lejos de la obstruccion, cuando regresa la energia.
