Abstract
Se describe un algoritmo para el rastreo mejorado de los transpondedores del Sistema de Faro de Radar de Control de Trafico Aereo. El algoritmo puede ser combinado con un sistema que incluye un interruptor el cual transmite una senal de interrogacion a un transponedor asociado de un vehiculo en una primera frecuencia, de preferencia 1030 MHz de acuerdo con los reglamentos de la FAA, y un vector receptor el cual recibe la senal de respuesta del transpondedor transmitida por el transpondedor en una segunda frecuencia, preferentemente de 1090 MHz de acuerdo con los reglamentos de la FAA. Un angulo del procesador de llegada calcula un angulo de la senal de respuesta recibida y un procesador de posicion calcula la posicion del vehiculo basada en por lo menos los datos del angulo recibidos.
