Abstract

Un sistema para disipar el incremento de carga electrostatica en impresoras que comprende un marco de cinta hecho de material electrostaticamente dispersivo y adaptado para soportar un soporte de la cabeza de impresion en el que una cabeza de impresion termica esta montada cerca de un rodillo giratorio; el marco de cinta estaticamente dispersivo puede estar a tierra a la fuente de energia de la impresora que a su vez esta puesta a tierra al ensamble del tablero de circuito principal (PCBA) de la impresora que esta conectada a tierra fisica; el material electrostaticamente dispersivo en el marco de cinta disipa en forma automatica la carga electrica estatica conforme la cinta en movimiento entra en contacto fisico por lo menos con una porcion del marco de cinta puesto a tierra durante la operacion de la impresora; el soporte de la cabeza de impresion tambien puede estar hecho de material estaticamente dispersivo y puesto a tierra al PCBA; el material electrostaticamente dispersivo en el soporte de la cabeza de impresion disipa en forma automatica la carga electrica estatica conforme la cinta en movimiento entra en contacto fisico por lo menos con una porcion del soporte de la cabeza de impresion puesto a tierra.
