Abstract

Se escribe un circuito de deteccion de arco para monitorear un sistema de distribucion electrica que da por resultado la deteccion de la formacion de arco en el sistema de distribucion electrica y la capacidad para proporcionar una notificacion y proteccion para esta formacion de arco. El sistema funciona para monitorear el sistema de distribucion electrica para percibir las frecuencias de senales en el sistema usando filtracion apropiada. Un tipo de filtracion que se puede usar se basa en un circuito heterodino que proporciona filtracion de frecuencia variable para filtrar una senal representativa de la corriente en al menos un circuito electrico del sistema electrico. La salida del circuito heterodino se configura para producir una senal que se puede relacionar logaritmicamente a la senal filtrada. Si la senal de salida excede un limite predeterminado (representativo del ruido) durante un periodo predeterminado (representativo de una duracion tipica de arco), el sistema genera una senal de arco. La senal de arco entonces se puede usar para operar un interruptor de circuito o un indicador en un sistema de proteccion de circuito.
