La invencion se refiere a una dextrosa hidratada pulverizada caracterizada porque presenta una riqueza de dextrosa cuando menos igual a 98 por ciento, un contenido de forma cristalina alfa cuando menos igual a 95 por ciento, un contenido de agua superior al 1 por ciento, de preferencia comprendido entre el 2 por ciento y 10 por ciento, y mas preferencialmente todavia comprendido entre 5 por ciento y 9.5 por ciento, una comprimibilidad, determinada segun una prueba A, cuando menos igual a 70 N, de preferencia cuando menos igual a 90 N, y mas preferencialmente comprendida entre 90 y 200 N. La invencion se refiere igualmente a su procedimiento de obtencion y utilizacion de dicha dextrosa hidratada pulverizada como agente edulcorante, osmatico, nutritivo o excipiente, en particular en composiciones destinadas a los campos alimentario, farmaceutico, quimico y agroquimico.
