Abstract

Un inhibidor de corrosion para hermetapas metalicas empleadas en los productos envasados. El inhibidor de corrosion se compone de una o mas fuentes de zinc de grado alimenticio como el oxido de zinc; una o mas fuentes acidas como los acidos carboxilicos, por ejemplo acido citrico; un compuesto regulador de pH como el hidroxido de sodio; y agua, preferentemente agua suave, como fase acuosa para el concentrado formado por la combinacion de compuestos antes mencionados, asi como agua suave como diluyente del concentrado para su aplicacion. Tambien se presenta un metodo y sistema para la aplicacion del inhibidor de corrosion, tal que el metodo y sistema favorecen a que el inhibidor de corrosion se impregne tanto el borde perimetral de la hermetapa, asi como la superficie interior de la hermetapa colindante con la superficie de la boquilla del contenedor.
