Abstract

La presente invencion describe un proceso o metodo para obtener cobre en solucion a partir de minerales de cobre, tipo sulfuros, empleando un proceso de lixiviacion acida convencional modificado, el cual utiliza un agente catalizador para coadyuvar a la disolucion del cobre de dichos minerales. Este proceso de lixiviacion emplea los medios convencionales del mismo, como son acido sulfurico o clorhidrico, sulfato o cloruro ferrico, e introduce el catalizador, compuesto de ozono o mezcla gaseosa que contenga el mismo.
