Abstract

Un proceso para mejorar las propiedades mecánicas, en particular la rigidez a la flexion, de las fibras de aramida mediante deposicion directamente de un recubrimiento de carbono similar al diamante en la superficie de las fibras. También se expone fibras de aramida recubiertas con carbono similar al diamante (DLC) que tienen rigidez a la flexion aumentada. Las fibras de aramida recubiertas con DLC muestran un aumento en la rigidez a la flexion y supresion del bajo comportamiento de produccion con las fibras de aramida no recubiertas.
