Un reactor de hidrolisis para la remocion de urea, amoniaco y bioxido de carbono desde una fase líquida que comprende urea en solucion acuosa comprende, en forma ventajosa: un deflector divisor (8) que se extiende horizontalmente a una altura predeterminada en el reactor, en el que define un primer y un segundo espacios, respectivamente, espacios de reaccion inferior y superior (9, 10); un medio (11) para la recoleccion y la extraccion desde el reactor de una primer porcion de una fase gaseosa que comprende vapor a alta presion y alta temperatura, alimentado previamente al primer espacio de reaccion (9); y un medio (15) para alimentar una segunda porcion de la fase gaseosa que comprende vapor a alta presion y alta temperatura hacia el segundo espacio de reaccion (10).
