Abstract
Esta invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para la preparacion de un compuesto de alfa-clorocetona, este procedimiento comprende las etapas de: (i) someter a ciclizacion una amida de alquinilo, para formar una 5-metilenoxazolina: (ii) someter a cloracion la 5-metilenoxazolina, usando el ácido tricloroisocianurico, para producir un producto intermedio clorada de oxazolina (iii) hidrolizar el producto intermedio clorada de oxazolina, con un ácido acuoso, para producir la monoclorocetona deseada: en donde: Z es alquilo o alquilo substituido, arilo o arilo substituido, heteroarilo o heteroarilo substituido, o fenileno; R es un átomo de hidrogeno o un grupo alquilo; y R1 y R2 son cada uno, independientemente, un grupo alquilo o alquilo substituido, o R1 y R2, junto con el átomo de carbono al cual se unen, forman una estructura cíclica. Adicionalmente, cuando R es un átomo de hidrogeno, se pude formar covenientemente una diclorocetona a través del ajuste de las condiciones de reaccion.
