Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un dispositivo para producir un cuerpo de panal, especialmente un sustrato de catalizador, a partir de una pila (1) de una pluralidad de láminas metálicas por lo menos parcialmente estructuradas formando una pluralidad de canales permeables al fluido. El dispositivo tiene un dispositivo de seguridad con forma de horquilla asegurando cada pila (1) y segmentos de molde (2, 3, 4, 5). Los segmentos de molde pueden ser cerrados para formar un molde (10) en donde cada segmento (2, 3, 4, 5) tiene una seccion de cubierta (6, 7, 8, 9) y, con el molde (10) cerrado, las secciones de cubierta proporcionan la forma externa del cuerpo de panal que será producido. Por lo menos dos segmentos de molde (2, 4) están tan desplazablemente dispuestos que por lo menos una parte (11, 12) de cada seccion de cubierta (6, 8) que se apoya sobre la pila (1) describe una trayectoria de movimiento en direccion hacia el extremo libre de la pila (1).
