Abstract
Los perfiles de acero estructural tal como canales, teniendo un espesor de material mayor de 2 milímetricos, son formados en rollo a un perfil predeterminado con esquinas parcialmente dobladas, galvanizados en línea, y después formados en rollo además a la forma final. El perfil preformado tiene superficies convexas de cara hacia arriba permitiendo un desprendimiento rápido del material galvanizante en exceso. Mediante el preformar las esquinas antes de la galvanizacion, el alargamiento de superficie en la capa de galvanizacion es minimizado y se elimina el agrietamiento. Esto es mejorado por el doblado de longitud constante de las esquinas sobre las operaciones de preforma y de formacion en rollo final.
