Abstract

La presente invencion se dirige a laminados corrugados con diferencias de densidad creadas en por lo menos una de las capas de laminado. Los laminados incluyen una primera capa unida a una segunda capa para formar un compuesto el cual tiene una pluralidad de corrugaciones que forman una serie de picos separados por una serie de valles. Por lo menos la segunda capa está formada de un material comprimible tal como una tela no tejida fibrosa la cual tiene formadas ahí áreas de diferente densidad debido al proceso de formacion usado para formar el laminado. En un proceso las capas primer y segunda son unidas una a otra a lo largo de una serie de líneas generalmente paralelas de union mientras que por lo menos uno de los materiales está en un estado tensionado. Una vez que se completa la union, la tension se libera y el laminado forma una serie de corrugadores. En las áreas de valles inmediatamente adyacentes a las líneas de union el laminado y en particular la segunda capa tienen una densidad incrementada debido al proceso de union.
