Abstract

Se describe un proceso para preparar una composicion líquida estable al almacenamiento conteniendo un poli-isocianato orgánico y un fosfato ácido. El proceso incluye los pasos de (1) calentar una mezcla de un poli-isocianato y un fosfato ácido a una temperatura en la escala de 60 degree C a 190 degree C durante un tiempo tal que no se presenta la separacion de fases al enfriar la mezcla de reaccion a temperatura ambiente, la mezcla conteniendo gases disueltos; y (2) someter la mezcla a una presion negativa suficiente para remover por lo menos una porcion de los gases disueltos de la misma. La presurizacion negativa disminuye significativamente la velocidad de evolucion posterior del dioxido de carbono y por lo tanto permite estabilidad al almacenamiento por un término más largo del que se obtiene cuando no se lleva a cabo el paso de presurizacion negativa. dado que reduce problemas asociados con presurizacion de recipientes.
