Abstract
Los péptidos que se describen tienen bien definida su estructura secundaria, preferentemente una conformacion helicoidal, la cual simula la region correspondiente de la somatotropina porcina (pST), y la cual incrementa la actividad de la pST y estimula el desarrollo de animales de sangre caliente. Estos péptidos compiten con la pST para la union al anticuerpo monocional PS-7.6. Estos péptidos contienen allí dentro la, secuencia de aminoácidos Xaa-Xaa-Leu-Xaa-Xaa-Ile-Xaa-Xaa-Xaa-Leu-Xaa-Val-Xa a-Xaa (SEC DE ID NO:1), en donde la secuencia diferente de la secuencia nativa de la pST, así como las secuencias en las cuales la localizacion de los aminoácidos esenciales es cambiada por tres aminoácidos, representando casi un grito a lo largo de la hélice, la cual contiene allí dentro la secuencia de aminoáciodos Xaa-Xaa-Xaa-Xaa-Xaa-Leu-Xaa-Xaa-Xaa-Ile-Xaa-Xaa-Le u-Xaa-Xaa-Xaa-Val (SEC DE ID NO:18), y en donde la secuencia difiere de la secuencia nativa de la pST.
