Abstract

Un proceso para la preparacion de antibioticos de antraciclina de la formula (A), en donde R1 es hidrogeno, OH, o OCOR2, en donde R2 es un grupo alquilo C1-C4; que comprende la epimerizacion del grupo 4'-hidroxi del residuo de daunosamina mediante la substitucion nucleofílica de un grupo triflato don un carboxilato, la empimerizacion se lleva a cabo den toda la molécula y los grupos hidroxi se protegen y subsecuentemente se transformo en el producto final.
