Abstract
Un sistema y un método que pueden implementarse en un controlador o inversor de potencia, por ejemplo, que usa la velocidad de un rotor para controlar la salida de fuerza torsional de un motor de un vehículo eléctrico. Un codificador de rotor acoplado al rotor del motor proporciona señales de codificador que indican la velocidad del rotor y por tanto la velocidad del vehículo. Alternativamente, los sensores de velocidad de la rueda pueden emplearse en lugar del codificador para proporcionar señales percibidas que son procesadas para producir el control de traccion del vehículo. Mediante el vigilar la tasa de cambio de las señales del codificador o del sensor, el controlador determina si las ruedas de impulsion están resbalando debido a la pérdida de traccion.
