Abstract

El agotamiento de odorizante se reduce pasivando la superficie interna de recipientes de transporte y almacenamiento de gas LP por la adicion de agentes de pasivacion que comprenden mezclas de inhibidores de corrosion tales como de fosfato, aminas, grasas, poliamidas, imidazolinas poli-imidazolinas, aminas cuaternarias, poli cuaternarias, ácidos de dímeros, ácidos de trímeros, ácidos poliméricos, aminas grasas etoxiladas, poliamidas etoxiladas, alcoholes etoxilados o mezclas de los mismos y uno o más solventes. En una modalidad preferida, los agentes de pasivacion contienen uno o más ésteres de fosfato definidos por la ecuacion: [R-X-[CmH2mO)n]k-PO(OH))(3-k) en donde; R es un grupo alquilo que contiene de 4 a 18 átomos de carbono o un grupo alquilarilo que comprende un grupo alquilo seleccionado del grupo que consiste de fenol, difenol y mezclas de los mismos y un grupo alquilo que contiene de 4 a 18 átomos de carbono; X se selecciona del grupo que consiste de un grupo carboxilo (-COO-), oxigeno (-O-), un grupo de aminas secundarias (-NH-) y mezclas de los mismos; m es un numero entero que tiene un valor de aproximadamente 2 a alrededor de 4; n es un numero entero que tiene un valor de aproximadamente a alrededor de 20; y K es un numero entero que tiene valor de 1 a 2 y una o más aminas grasas, poliamidas, imidazolinas, poli-imidazolinas, aminas cuaternarias, poli cuaternarias, ácidos de dímeros, ácidos de trímeros, ácidos poliméricos, amidas grasas etoxiladas, poliamidas etoxiladas, alcoholes etoxilados o mezclas de los mismos y uno o más solventes.
