Abstract

En una realizacion de la invencion, la composicion de vidrio de un artículo de vidrio de sosa-cal-sílice absorbente de la radiacion infrarroja y ultravioleta y de color verde incluye una porcion absorbente de la radiacion solar y colorante consistente esencialmente en aproximadamente un 0,60 a un 4 por cien en peso de hierro total, aproximadamente un 0,13 a un 0,9 por cien en peso de FeO, aproximadamente 40 a 500 PPM de CoO, aproximadamente 5 a 70 PPM de Se, aproximadamente 15 a 800 PPM de Cr2O3 y aproximadamente un 0,02 a un 1 por cien de TiO2.
