Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona un método (200) y un dispositivo (300) para el control de errores de una secuencia comprimida de video en la cual se proporciona proteccion de error para los errores de canal tanto aleatorio como de ráfaga. La sintaxis de control de errores (100) aplica un sistema de sincronizacion de paquete de longitud fija a un dato de video comprimido, codificado, de longitud variable, el cual proporciona la capacidad de limitar la propagacion de errores dentro de la corriente de bits de video decodificada. La informacion de control del paquete de longitud fija proporciona informacion para decodificar los datos de video comprimidos de ambas direcciones de avance y a la inversa para permitir la recuperacion de datos de video correctamente decodificados dentro de una estructura decodificada después de largas ráfagas de errores de canal mientras se reduce la sobrecarga para el control de errores. El método de control de errores también proporciona deteccion de errores de video que puede utilizarse para la conciliacion de errores.
