Abstract
Una composicion de vidrio de fluoruro de metal pasado para una fibra optica, en porcentaje molar, de aproximadamente: del 20 al 40 por ciento de InF,3 del 20 al 0 por ciento de GaF3, del 2 al 10 por ciento de PDF2, del o al 25 por ciento de ZnF2, del 0 al 25 por ciento de CdF2, del 10 al 25 por ciento de BaF2, del 0 al 6 por ciento de NaC1, del 0 al 6 por ciento de NaF, del 0 al 7 por ciento de SrF2, y del 0 al 5 por ciento de CaF2; siendo el total de InF3 y GaF3 aproximadamente el 40 por ciento, siendo el total de BaF2, SrF2, y CaF2 aproximadamente el 25 por ciento, siendo el total de ZnF2 y CdF2 aproximadamente el 25 por cieno, y siendo el total de NaC1 y NaF aproximadamente el 6 por ciento, adicionándose además esta composicion con un fluoruro de metal pesado de la serie del lantano en una cantidad hasta de aproximadamente el 1 por ciento.
