Abstract

Se describen composiciones poliméricas termocurables que comprenden una resina de poliéster etilénicamente insaturado o éster vinílico, un componente iniciador de peroxido orgánico, un promotor de la descomposicion de dicho peroxido, y un inhibidor de la polimerizacion de la resina, en donde el inhibidor está presente en una cantidad con respecto a la cantidad del promotor presente de manera que el tiempo de gelificacion de la composicion es independiente de la cantidad del promotor presente. La observancia de la relacion indicada entre el promotor y el inhibidor proporciona las ventajas de ambos componentes y también permite al operador obtener características y funcionamiento de curacion como una unica funcion del contenido de peroxido de la composicion.
