Abstract

El dispositivo para el colado continuo de lingotes, prelaminados, lajas y varillas redondas, que se asocia con un cristalizador (10) conteniendo elemental colado e incluyendo las paredes laterales (11) que cooperan con canales de enfriamiento (16-24) definidas por las paredes externas (15), el dispositivo comprendiendo una pluralidad de dispositivos localizados afuera de las paredes laterales (11) del cristalizador, el dispositivo estando caracterizado porque los dispositivos electromagnéticos (18a, 18b, 18c) están cooperando directamente con las paredes laterales (11) y están separadas longitudinalmente a lo largo de la direccion de deslizamiento del producto colado y se alimenta en una forma independiente, separada y diferencia unas de otras, la alimentacion siendo una funcion de la generacion de un campo electromagnético pulsátil en una direccion substancialmente perpendicular al eje del cristalizador (10) y migrando substancialmente a lo largo de toda la extension longitudinal del cristalizador (10), con los pulsos de corriente alcanzando un valor de hasta 100 kA.
