Abstract

Las materias primas tales como los jarabes de glucosa, melazas de caña y remolacha usadas en los procesos de produccion fermentativa usualmente contienen sacáridos los cuales no pueden ser utilizados por los microorganismos empleados en los procesos de fermentacion. La presente invencion describe el uso de preparaciones enzimáticas capaces de hidrolizar los sacáridos no fermentables en sacáridos fermentables para mejorar el rendimiento del proceso de produccion fermentativa. Las preparaciones enzimáticas pueden aplicarse en un punto en el proceso en donde la concentracion de carbohidrato total es menor del 20% para evitar las reacciones de reversion. Las preparaciones enzimáticas se aplican preferiblemente en forma inmovilizada.
