Abstract
Se describe una placa o etiqueta indicadora (10) para una pila electroquímica con un probador de condicion para la pila integrado con la placa o etiqueta indicadora para formar un cuerpo compuesto de placa o etiqueta indicadora/probador (11). El cuerpo compuesto de la placa indicadora/probabador tiene un material termocromico (12) en contacto térmico con un material eléctricamente conductor (40). Una subestructura que contiene un material conductor curado y preferiblemente también un material termocromico se forma sobre una tela desprendible y se transfiere de la tela desprendible a la superficie interna de la película base térmicamente contraible. Puede aplicarse un revestimiento divisor (60) sobre el material conductor transferido. De manera preferible, se aplica una hoja de papel o película de plástico (210) que tiene una abertura de ventana grande (220) en ella para atrapar aire sobre el revestimiento divisor y alineada sobre la porcion generadora de calor del material conductor. El cuerpo compuesto de la placa indicadora/probador se aplica al alojamiento de la pila con el papel o película de plástico aislante con la abertura de la ventana contra el alojamiento de la pila. La placa indicadora/probador puede activarse oprimiendo una o dos regiones sobre su superficie, conectando por lo tanto el material conductor a las terminales de la pila, tras la cual el material conductor se calienta produciendo un cambio en la apariencia del material termocromico para indicar la condicion de la pila.
