Abstract

Una batería recargable que comprende una celda electrolítica laminada de la cual se interpone una capa de electrolito/separador híbrido de polímero plastificado flexible entre las capas de electrodo positivo y negativo de las composiciones de matriz polimérica que intercalan ion litio que transportan las láminas delgadas recolectoras de corriente respectivas (11, 19). Se forma una celda (10) laminar alargada en una batería unificada por medio de un pliegue (23) transversal inicial colocado sobre el electrodo/colector dentro de la estructura con pliegues secuenciales subsecuentes (25, 27, 29) que dan forma espiral a la celda, sin necesidad de aislamiento interpuesto, hacia afuera, hacia los extremos del electrodo en que los colectores alojan las terminales de batería (22, 24). La inmersion de la estructura en un solvente extrae el plastificante polimérico el cual se sustituye subsecuentemente por contacto con un electrolito de solucion de sal de litio para activar la batería.
