Abstract
Se forman imágenes utilizando primeros y segundos lechos fluidizados de pigmento orgánico no magnético que tienen primeros y segundos rodillos aplicadores sencillos respectivos. Una superficie retentiva de carga tal como una banda fotoconductora se carga uniformemente (por ejemplo por un dispositivo corona) a un nivel de voltaje pre-determinado y al menos primeras y segundas imágenes electrostáticas latentes diferentes espaciadas, se forman en la superficie en diferentes sitios (tal como por un dispositivo de exploracion con salida basada en láser. La superficie luego se mueve más allá del primer rodillo aplicador y luego al segundo rodillo aplicador. El primer lecho fluidizado y el rodillo aplicador se derivan eléctricamente a un primer nivel de derivacion efectivo, de manera tal que la primer imagen se revela por un pigmento orgánico no magnético, transferido desde el primer rodillo aplicador a la primer imagen, mientras que el revelado de la segunda imagen se evita y el segundo lecho fluidizado y el segundo rodillo aplicador se derivan eléctricamente a un segundo nivel de derivacion efectivo, de manera tal que la segunda imagen se revela por el pigmento orgánico no magnético transferido desde el segundo rodillo aplicador a la segunda imagen, mientras que el revelado de la primer imagen se evita. Pigmento orgánico negro puede aplicarse al primer lecho fluidizado y pigmento orgánico de color al segundo lecho. Un rodillo de transferencia puede utilizarse para transferir pigmento orgánico desde cada uno de los lechos fluidizados a su rodillo aplicador asociado.
