Abstract
Un derivado de propiofenona de la formula I: (Ver Formula); en donde R' es un grupo inferior de alcanoilo y R" es un átomo de hidrogeno, o R' es un átomo de hidrogeno y R" es un grupo de alcoxicarbonilo inferior, o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo. Dichos compuestos tienen una excelente actividad hipoglicémica, siendo entonces utiles en la profiláxis o tratamiento de la diabetes.
