Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un generador de corriente alterna que tiene un rotor con imanes permanentes (12) colocados entre los polos dentados (10b). El rotor tiene nucleos polares (10) del tipo Lundell que tienen una porcion protuberante (10a) en donde una bobina inductora (11) es devanada en la parte inferior de los polos dentados (10b). Los imanes permanentes (12) son magnetos de ferrita sinterizada y están colocados entre las superficies (10d) del lado contrario de los polos dentados adyacentes y magnetizados para tener el mismo polo magnético como el polo dentado (10a) adyacente al mismo. Una relacion entre el área de seccion transversal por polo de la trayectoria magnética de la porcion protuberante (10a) y el área de superficie periférica de los polos dentados (10b) enfrentada hacia los dientes (22a) del nucleo (22) del estator, está diseñada para ser de entre 70% a 120%.
