Abstract
Un circuito de suministro de energía condensada para energizar una lámpara de descarga de gas con corriente bi-direccional reduce el ciclo de trabajo incrementado el tiempo muerto. El circuito comprende una configuracion para suministrar energía de d.c. desde un voltaje de c.a., un convertidor de medio puente en serie, un convertidor de refuerzo, un circuito de retraso de capacitor-resistor asociado con una compuerta para controlar el tiempo muerto, y una capacitancia de proteccion para facilitar la interrupcion de voltaje cero a fin de que llene todo el tiempo muerto. El convertidor de medio puente en serie ejerce alternativamente un voltaje del colector de c.d. desde un conductor de refuerzo a través de un circuito de carga primero con una polaridad opuesta. El convertidor de medio puente en serie incluye un primer interruptor, un segundo interruptor, y un circuito de control de interruptor para encender alternativamente el primero y segundo interruptores. El convertidor de refuerzo comprende un capacitor de refuerzo, un inductor de refuerzo, y medios para conectar periodicamente un extremo de carga del inductor de refuerzo a través de una trayectoria de baja impedancia al conductor de tierra, cargando así el inductor de refuerzo. La presente invencion reduce el ciclo de trabajo vía un incremento en tiempo muerto. El circuito de retraso de resistor-capacitor asociado con un compuerta, es usado para controlar el tiempo muerto. La capacitancia de proteccion, que facilita la interrupcion de voltaje cero para llenar todo el rango de tiempo muerto, tiene un valor fijado por el circuito de retraso de resistor-capacitor.
