Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a una cabeza de perforacion de direccion controlable, para formar un pozo de sondeo sobre una trayectoria subterránea selecta, caracterizada porque comprende: un cuerpo tubular alargado que tiene extremos delantero y trasero y una periferia interior y adaptada para conectarse axialmente en su extremo trasero con un extremo de un tramo de cubierta y que se mueve longitudinalmente por la cubierta en un pozo de sondeo; un cojinete de manguito que tiene una periferia exterior en el cuerpo y longitudinalmente movil respecto al cuerpo; pares cooperantes de medios de cuña superpuestos, interpuestos en oposicion diametral entre la periferia interior del cuerpo y la periferia exterior del cojinete de manguito, en porciones de extremo respectivas de este ultimo, para sostener en forma normalmente concéntrica el cojinete de manguito en el cuerpo; y una subjunta de tubería para perforacion rotatoria adaptada para conectarse en un extremo con una sarta de perforacion rotatoria y que tiene una broca de perforacion de al menos un diámetro ligeramente más grande que el cuerpo, en su otro extremo proyectante más allá del extremo delantero del cuerpo, la subjunta está articulada por el cojinete de manguito y longitudinalmente movil con el cojinete de manguito respecto al cuerpo, con lo que el movimiento longitudinal del cojinete de manguito y la subjunta respecto al cuerpo en una direccion formadora de pozo de sondeo, mueve una cuña del par de cuñas respecto a la otra cuña del respectivo par de cuñas y cambia los ejes longitudinales del cojinete de manguito y la subjunta, a un ángulo predeterminado y en una direccion preseleccionada respecto al eje longitudinal del cuerpo.
