Abstract
Un método y aparato para simular la interferencia de señal dentro de un sistema de comunicaciones, tales sistemas de comunicaciones inalámbrico o celular. El sistema de comunicaciones es preferentemente de un tipo en el cual se utilizan señales de comunicacion de espectro difundido de acceso multiple por division de codigo (CDMA). El método para simular la potencia de interferencia de señal recibida por un receptor de la estacion base incluye la estimacion de una primer potencia de señal compuesta (100, 110) correspondiente a la suma de la potencia de señal transmitida por un primer conjunto de usuarios simulados localizados en una primer celda. También se hace una estimacion de una primer proporcion normalizada de datos (410) para la transmision de la señal compuesta. Se genera entonces una primer señal de interferencia (114, 126, 128, 130) a un nivel de potencia determinado sobre la base de la primer potencia de señal compuesta y proporcion normalizada de datos. En una implementacion preferida, la primer potencia de señal de interferencia se ajusta de acuerdo con una fluctuacion de potencia promedio (420) que llega como una consecuencia del control de potencia de ciclo cerrado (715). Además, se determina una segunda potencia de señal compuesta al estimar la suma de la potencia de señal transmitida por un segundo conjunto de usuarios simulados localizados fuera de la primer celda. Se hace una estimacion similar de una segunda proporcion normalizada de datos en la cual esta potencia de señal se transmite por el segundo conjunto de usuarios simulados. Esto permite la generacion de una segunda señal de interferencia en base a la segunda potencia de señal compuesta y proporcion normalizada de datos. La generacion de la primer señal de interferencia típicamente involucrará la síntesis del ruido eléctrico (160) sobre una banda de frecuencia predeterminada. La potencia del ruido eléctrico se ajusta entonces (170) de acuerdo con el producto de la primer potencia de señal compuesta y la primer proporcion normalizada de datos.
