Abstract

Un método y aparato para simular la interferencia de señal en un canal de comunicacion dentro de un sistema de comunicaciones, tal como sistemas telefonicos y/o de datos subscriptores inalámbricos o celulares. El sistema de comunicacion puede ser de un tipo celular en el cual los usuarios de una pluralidad de celdas se comunican señales de informacion unos entre otros utilizando al menos una estacion base (12, 14) y señales de comunicacion de tipo de espectro difundido de multiple acceso por division de codigo (CDMA) (20, 22, 24, 26). La estacion base (12, 14) se incluye en una primera de las celdas y tiene un transmisor (260) a partir del cual se transmite informacion a unidades subscriptoras (16, 18, SU) sobre al menos un canal de comunicacion. El método expuesto incluye la etapa de determinar una primer energía de señal compuesta asociada con la transmision de señales proveniente del transmisor de la estacion base sobre un primer conjunto de canales de comunicacion simulados. El método de simulacion contempla además la estimacion de una primer proporcion promedio de datos para la primer energía de señal compuesto. La potencia de señal transmitida sobre el canal de comunicacion se ajusta de acuerdo con una primer señal de interferencia (140, 150) la cual se basa en la primer energía de señal compuesta y la primer proporcion promedio de datos. En una implementacion preferida, también se toma una determinacion de una segunda energía de señal compuesta asociada con las transmisiones de señales provenientes de los transmisores de la estacion base en otras celdas sobre un segundo conjunto de canales de comunicacion simulados. También se hace una estimacion de una segunda proporcion promedio de datos para la segunda energía de señal compuesta a fin de permitir la generacion de una segunda señal de interferencia (92).
