Abstract
El manejo térmico de las baterías recargables de paquete plano se logra proporcionando extensiones en los componentes del alojamiento de la pila individual cuyas extensiones se conectan para proporcionar canales de aire abiertos entre las pilas individuales. En una modalidad alternativa de la invención, las pilas dentro del montón se llenan con un líquido térmicamente conductor tal como gel de sílice para ayudar a la disipación de calor de las pilas adyacentes.
