Abstract
Se describe un método para la elaboración de un lente de contacto acabado de visión simple esférico, o bifocal esférico o esférico, multifocal o de adición de progresiva, que incluye el paso de ajustar a un paciente que requiera una corrección cerca, un lente de contacto esférico o esférico de visión simple, para la visión de distancia óptima y ajuste confortable. El paciente es luego sobrerefractado para determinar la corrección cercana requerida, a ser incorporada en el lente de contacto. Una porción del óptico corresponde a la posición central de la pupila es marcada sobre el lado convexo del óptico, para formar una preforma óptica.
