Abstract

Se da a conocer un a red de comunicaciones de datos inalámbrica de dispersión del espectro por saltos de frecuencia. Los cuadros de marcar el tiempo se transmiten mediante cada estación de base a una cadencia regular y cada cuadro de marcar tiempo contiene toda la información necesaria para determinar la secuencia de salto de los canales, un subjuego de canales posibles en uso, y el canal específico en el cual se transmitió la maraca de tiempo. El recibo de la marca de tiempo resincroniza un reloj de intervalos que se usa mediante los terminales inalámbricos para implementar un protocolo de acceso de medio con intervalos de tiempo sincrónicos. La estación de base al enlace de radio del terminal vagabundo es en dúplex. Cada estación de base difunde un marco de final de mensaje durante un periodo de saltos que indica que no tiene más datos que enviar durante ese salto. Si no hay mensajes de salida, que necesita enviar un terminal vagabundo, coloca su receptor en un modo de baja potencia hasta que se aproxime el siguiente tiempo de salto.
