Abstract

La fabricación de arneses de cableado requiere muchos pasos, tales como el paso de tendido de alambre, que tiende los alambres eléctricos, revestidos con forros aislantes, en una formación tendida, y los corta a una longitud medida; un paso de desprendimiento de los forros aislantes en los extremos de los alambres eléctricos; un paso de rizado, que prensa juntos los terminales con los extremos desnudos de los alambres eléctricos, en contacto rizado; un paso de inserción, que inserta dentro de conectores los terminales prensados en contacto rizado, etc. Este sistema tiene un aparato para cada paso modularizado, y se puede aumentar o disminuir el número de módulos incorporados en el sistema, dependiendo del tipo de arnés de cableado deseado. Por ejemplo, se supone ahora que una línea de fabricación de arnés de cableado consiste de un módulo automatizado de tendido de alambre, un módulo desnudador, dos módulos de rizado de terminal y un módulo insertador de terminal. Cuando se cambia el tipo de arnés de cableado deseado, se proveen un módulo automatizado de tendido de alambre y un módulo insertador de terminal, en esa línea de fabricación y, eventualmente, se puede incorporar dos de los módulos automatizados de tendido de alambre y dos de los módulos insertadores de terminal, en esta línea de fabricación. De tal manera, el sistema de fabricación automatizado, de conformidad con la presente invención, es un sistema ajustable moldeablemente a la renovación de un diseño del arnés de cableado.
