Abstract

Un tanque recibe agua cruda o natural para clarificación de la misma por flotación. Un arreglo o disposición de lamelas define un juego o conjunto de canales orientados generalmente en forma vertical con paredes laterales sólidas. La flotación ocurre en cada canal. Los canales están preferiblemente inclinados. Con un tanque redondo, un marco gira un arreglo de trabado o enclavamiento de lamelas radiales y concéntricas. Una caja de distribución interior de agua cruda o natural, estacionaria, llena los canales con agua cruda o natural tratada. Una caja de recolección de agua clarificada, alineada, retira o saca el agua clarificada. Una desespumadora estacionaria dirige el lodo de flotación a un conducto de eliminación con un transportador de tornillo articulado variable. Los sellos deslizables sobre las lamelas aíslan canales individuales o grupos de canales conforme éstas se mueven a través del tanque. Los canales fijas y mueven las columnas de agua a través del tanque sin turbulencias substancial.
