Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento para modificación química en húmedo de superficies de partes moldeadas hechas de organopolisiloxanos; las partes moldeadas se pusieron en contacto con soluciones de hidróxido metálico para adaptar la capacidad de unión de iones metálicos, cationes bivalentes, macroaniones orgánicos y macrocationes organicos, v. gr., proteínas. El procedimiento crea superficies de organopolisiloxano que son mejor humectables, tienen resistencia de superficie reducida, son menos pegajosos, son más lisos y mas biocompatibles.
