Abstract

Se describen un sistema y método para la transferencia de aire en exceso proveniente del compresor de una turbina de gas de combustión que tiene un compresor y un expansor acoplados, al menos a un combustor separado, donde éste se mezcla con el combustible y se quema para accionar al menos un expansor no apareado o no acoplado. En una modalidad preferida, el expansor no apareado es una unidad 'de fabricación normalizada o en existencia para entrega inmediata' la cual puede ser rápidamente adquirida e instalada.
