Abstract

La solicitud de patente japonesa número 67187-1967 da a conocer un sistema catalizador y técnica para sintetizar el TPBD que consiste de 75 a 80 de trans-1,4-estructura y de 20 a 25 de 1,2-estructura.El sistema catalizador descrito mediante esta referencia consiste de un compuesto de cobalto que tiene una sal de ácido orgánico de cobalto o un grupo coordinador orgánico, un compuesto de organoaluminio y fenol o naftol. La formación de gel es un problema serio que se encuentra frecuentemente cuando se utiliza este sistema catalizador de 3 componentes en la síntesis del TPBD. La gelificación es un problema particularmente serio de polimerizaciones continuas. Utilizando el sistema catalizador y las técnicas de está invención, el TPBD puede sintetizarse en un proceso continuo con solamente cantidades mínimas de formación de gel.
