Abstract

Se divulgan sistemas y métodos para identificar un segmento de medio de contenido de audio o video. El segmento de video es identificado mediante la derivación de datos del contenido de medios y comparando dichos datos con una base de datos de referencia, con el fin de identificar el citado segmento de video. Las modalidades de la invención mejoran la velocidad y precisión del proceso de identificación de medios mediante la división ventajosa de los índices en subdivisiones donde la información de referencia de alto valor se separa de la masa de datos, por ejemplo.
