Abstract

Se describe una dispersión de alquido modificada con acrílico y uretano, de origen hídrico, en donde la dispersión es surfactante sustancialmente libre y tiene menos de 1% en peso de compuestos orgánicos volátiles (VOC). Adicionalmente, se describe un método para preparar una dispersión de alquido modificada con acrílico y uretano, de origen hídrico, de surfactante sustancialmente libre, con menos de 1% en peso de VOC. En el método, un polímero de alquido modificado con acrílico se hace reaccionar con un compuesto básico en agua para formar una dispersión de alquido modificada con acrílico que tiene una primera viscosidad y luego se agrega a esta una semilla hidrófoba para formar una dispersión de alquido modificada con acrílico y uretano que tiene una segunda viscosidad, que es sustancialmente menor que la primera viscosidad.
