Abstract

La presente invención consiste en el uso de polímeros y copolímeros de tipo naftaleno como agentes de transferencia de hidrógeno heterogéneos para reacciones de hidrogenación, los cuales pueden estar soportados o extrudados y no soportados en óxidos metálicos tales sílice-caolín, como agentes de transferencia de hidrógeno en reacciones de hidrotratamiento térmico en presencia de agentes reductores como hidrógeno y/o metano. Estos donadores de hidrógeno por ser sólidos pueden ser reutilizados y recuperados del medio de reacción; además presentan una estabilidad térmica tal que permite llevar a cabo reacciones a temperaturas superiores a los 450 °C.
