Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método in vitro para diagnosticar la enfermedad de Crohn en un sujeto que comprende: a) obtener una muestra biológica de dicho sujeto, b) analizar la abundancia relativa del ADN huésped en dicha muestra y, c) diagnosticar que dicho sujeto sufre de la enfermedad de Crohn si dicha abundancia relativa es mayor que un valor de referencia. La presente invención se refiere también a un método in vitro para diagnosticar el estado (estable o inestable) de la enfermedad de Crohn en un sujeto, que comprende las etapas de: a) obtener una muestra biológica de dicho sujeto, b) analizar la abundancia relativa del ADN huésped en dicha muestra y c) diagnosticar que dicho sujeto tiene una enfermedad de Crohn en un estado inestable si dicha abundancia relativa es mayor que otro valor de referencia.
