Abstract
La presente invención describe un elevador electromagnético para mover materiales calientes (MC) que comprende un yugo ferromagnético formado por un núcleo horizontal (1) y dos polaridades verticales (2, 2'), bobinas de elevación (4) enrolladas alrededor del núcleo (1) y encerradas en un contenedor (5), un deflector no magnético (6) dispuesto entre las polaridades verticales (2, 2') y por debajo del contenedor (5) a una distancia de al menos 40 mm para protegerlo del calor irradiado por el material caliente (MC) a ser movido, así como espaciadores laterales (7) y espaciadores superiores (8) que mantienen separado el contenedor (5) de las polaridades (2, 2') y del núcleo (1) respectivamente.
