Abstract
Un método para enfriar un flujo de aire de carga que incluye dirigir un flujo de aire de carga a través de una primera y una segunda etapa de un enfriador de aire de carga en orden secuencial; se recibe un flujo de líquido refrigerante, y se separa en una primera porción y una segunda porción; la temperatura de la primera porción se reduce al expulsar calor a un refrigerante; la segunda porción se dirige a través de la primera etapa del enfriador de aire de carga con el fin de reducir la temperatura del aire de carga y la primera porción se dirige a través de la segunda etapa del enfriador de aire de carga después de haber expulsado el calor al refrigerante con el fin de reducir adicionalmente la temperatura del aire de carga.
